Program Description:

“My externship at P.G. Chambers School was a valuable part of my student clinical training. My supervisor provided a great balance between providing me with guidance and allowing me the independence to hone my clinical skills, while I gained strong experience in areas such as feeding therapy and alternative and augmentative communication. Best of all, as a graduate extern, I was considered not "just a student," but an integral part of the dedicated team serving the diverse student population at P.G. Chambers. My externship there was without a doubt a rewarding experience, both professionally and personally.”

(Lisa Hatala, M.S., CF-SLP
Graduate of William Paterson University, January 2008)

“I spent the summer of 2007 as a Speech Intern at the P. G. Chambers School and had a wonderful growing experience. Areas of special learning for me included: apraxia of speech, collaboration between the speech, occupational, and physical therapy departments, assistive communication and technology, auditory processing, and sensory integration. P. G. Chambers is a caring environment whose staff has a strong work ethic and is always striving to meet the individual needs of all their students. I will always appreciate the great experience I had during this internship.”

(Patty Keiling, M.S., CF-SLP
Graduate of Kean University 2008)
