P.G. Chambers School's Anniversary Event,
"Celebrating 50 Years of Magic"
Cedar Knolls, NJ (October 8, 2004) – Planning is well underway for P.G. Chambers School's anniversary gala, "Celebrating 50 Years of Magic," taking place on Saturday, November 13 at the Park Avenue Club in Florham Park. The event is a celebration of the magic of children's laughter, the wonder in their smiles and the power of their imaginations; and a fundraiser to ensure that the magic associated with helping children reach their fullest potential continues for another 50 years.
"Today, P.G. Chambers School is a state-of-the-art facility with innovative programs and highly qualified teachers, therapists and administrators," said Susan Seamans, executive director. "Ten years ago, we held our first gala as the culmination of a special 'Year of Magic,' celebrating the grand opening of the School's then-new Cedar Knolls facility. This second gala also culminates a very successful year that has included a name change (from Children's Center for Therapy and Learning to P.G. Chambers School); the first school year in the newly augmented Cedar Knolls facility; the launching of several new programs and therapeutic services; and of course, the celebration of 50 years of educational and therapeutic 'magic.' "
A highlight of the November 13 gala will be a performance by Las Vegas magicians, The Gleasons. Proceeds will benefit P.G. Chambers School's Augmentative Communication and Technology (ACT) for Kids Program. For more information on supporting ACT for Kids or P.G. Chambers School, please call 973-829-8484.
