Child care prepares children socially and cognitively for school, and the best child care programs can set children on the paths that lead to long-term benefits, including greater productivity as adults.
At Kids Count Child Care, we recognize the powerful impact we can have on children and their families. P.G. Chambers School's child care program is committed to providing a safe, loving and nurturing program for children with or without special needs from 6 weeks to 5 years of age.
A carefully planned curriculum, which focuses on experiential, hands-on learning and skill building, provides activities that help children reach their next developmental milestone. The child-centered, teacher-guided program is committed to creating an environment where children are able to first develop a personal sense of creativity, imagination and self-worth, and become independent, well-rounded individuals.
Kids Count is designed to promote growth in the areas of gross and fine motor abilities, cognition, communication and social interaction, and offers the unique opportunity for children with special needs to get physical, occupational and speech therapy in the familiarity of their child care setting.
Kids Count Child Care is another special program that illustrates just how much kids count at P.G. Chambers School.
