P.G. Chambers School Goals

• To reach beyond best-practice and offer innovative services for children and families
• To continuously improve quality, collaboration, and sustainability
• To conscientiously prepare PGCS for the future
• To be effective advocates for children with disabilities
• To ensure that PGCS can meet the challenges of changing economic and educational environments through the development of resources

P.G. Chambers School is a community of diverse learners where each student learns in a different way, requires different supports, and has unique gifts to share.

The educational programs begin in early childhood, with an inclusive option for children with and without disabilities, six weeks to five years of age, through Kids Count Child Care. Programs continue with a singular focus on services for children with disabilities in the preschool, elementary, and middle school. These programs support students’ overall development and challenge their learning. At P.G. Chambers School, students make measurable improvements in all areas of the curriculum, develop confidence in their own abilities and, at the right time, participate in their community schools.

A key component of P.G. Chambers School mission is to support children with disabilities in their communities. To fulfill this, P.G. Chambers School staff provides physical, occupational, and speech therapy, or related services, in public and private schools.
