Our school program includes Preschool, Kindergarten through Eighth grades, ESY and related services aligned with New Jersey’s Student Learning Standards.
Early Intervention
The Early Intervention program serves children birth-3 years of age with developmental and other disabilities, or who have undiagnosed developmental delays.
Training & Education
Internships and residencies for teachers, PTs, OTs, and speech therapists, and teachers, and high quality professional development services for educational professionals.
Community Services
On-site related services and educational consultation for local public and private schools supporting inclusion of students with disabilities, including embedded programs.

School Enrollment
Referrals are made to P.G. Chambers School from the child’s local school district when the family and local child study team have determined that an out of district placement is required to meet the child’s needs. Our process begins with a tour and a review of the student records by our screening team. If the student’s needs can be met at P.G. Chambers School, an in-person orientation is scheduled for our team to meet the child and gain additional information from the family, including reviewing the completed paperwork required before a student’s first day of school. P.G. Chambers Early Intervention
To access Early Intervention Programs call 1.888.653.4463 to refer your child to the New Jersey Early Intervention System (NJEIS). P.G. Chambers Early Intervention groups are open to all children under 3 years of age. If your child is currently enrolled in NJEIS, reach out to your service coordinator to discuss adding group sessions as part of your child’s plan. Community Services
P.G. Chambers School helps community public and private schools by providing on-site related services and educational consultation.. Contracts can provide:
- evaluations and direct services:
- speech language pathology,
- occupational therapy,
- physical therapy, and
- assistive technology;
- learning and educational consultations to teachers and CSTs; and
- in-service training for staff and parent groups.

Eric LeGrand, Former Rutgers University Football Star, to Speak at P.G. Chambers School Event
Former Rutgers University football star Eric LeGrand, who sustained a life-changing spinal cord injury in 2010, will be speaking at P.G. Chambers School’s 70th Anniversary Menus for the Mind event on April 18, 2024.
Jennifer Jacobs, Senior SLP at P.G. Chambers School, Recognized Nationally as Related Service Provider of the Year
Jennifer Jacobs, a Senior Speech Language Pathologist at P.G. Chambers School, has been selected as the National Association of Private Special Education Centers’ (NAPSEC) Related Service Provider of the Year Awardee.
New Playgrounds Open for Students
Support for the Playground Renovation Project was led by the Dorothy B. Hersh Foundation, who made a transformative $100,000 gift. Additional major donations were made by the ADP Foundation and Ilene and Bruce Jacobs.
