Providing Early Intervention services for children and families in Morris County since 1975.

Early Intervention

PG Chambers School has been providing quality early intervention services for children and their families in Morris County since 1975. Early intervention provides services and support for children with developmental delays and their families from birth until three.

Early Intervention builds upon natural learning opportunities that occur within the daily routine of a child and their family. Services are based on each child and family’s individual needs and may include the following:

  • developmental intervention,
  • social work,
  • physical therapy,
  • occupational therapy, and
  • speech therapy.

Early Intervention

P.G. Chambers School also offers child and family group opportunities and assistive technology supports through our own Assistive Technology (AT) program. Learn more about our Assistive Technology program.

The goals of P.G. Chambers School early intervention program are:

  • to improve the motor, language, learning, social, and emotional development of each child;
  • to provide the foundation for success in school and life;
  • to provide support, information, and education to families; and,
  • to increase the connections to community resources for each family.

Using a family-centered approach, P.G. Chambers School practitioners partner with parents and guardians to implement activities and interventions using evidence-based best practices. Services are provided in natural environments including the child’s home, childcare center, or other community settings important to the family (park, store, library, grandparent home). Assistive technology is used as a support to learning, growth, and development and is integrated into our program.
