Since her birth, Genevieve’s parents had navigated a complex diagnosis, determined that it would never define her. Genevieve was, and always would be, so much more: their daughter, a vibrant child with limitless potential, ready to learn how to navigate the world in her own way.

Genevieve had just turned five years old when she joined P.G. Chambers School.
Genevieve’s Voice Takes Shape
Genevieve has a rare genetic mutation that affects her communication and brain development, and she lives with cerebral palsy and epilepsy. She is nonverbal, yet her voice is resounding.
At P.G. Chambers School, that voice comes alive during Ms. Monika’s classroom lessons. Genevieve lights up during phonics activities, counts along with numbers, and has gained enough hand strength to play with age-appropriate toys. She speaks through her eyes, her movements, her sounds, and her joy.
