P.G. Chambers School is a community of diverse learners where each student learns in a different way, requires different supports, and has unique gifts to share.
The educational programs begin in early childhood, with an inclusive option for children with and without disabilities, six weeks to five years of age, through Kids Count Child Care. Programs continue with a singular focus on services for children with disabilities in the preschool, elementary, and middle school. These programs support students’ overall development and challenge their learning. At P.G. Chambers School, students make measurable improvements in all areas of the curriculum, develop confidence in their own abilities and, at the right time, participate in their community schools.
P.G. Chambers School is recognized, in New Jersey and across the nation, not only for the exceptional quality of its special education and therapy programs, but also for the training and continuing education that it provides for special educators, parents, therapists, and paraprofessionals. Based on the school mission of helping children reach their maximum potential, there is a strong commitment to preparing professionals and improving the expertise of those who work with this population.
P.G. Chambers School is one of the region’s most important nonprofit community organizations, earning the support of esteemed individuals from both the private and public sectors. It is also a first-choice referral for most area physicians, hospitals, school districts, and community social service agencies. The school’s programs reach children from a ten-county area of northern New Jersey.
