Events at P.G. Chambers School
Throughout the year, P.G. Chambers School holds several fundraising events. In addition to raising awareness of the School and its mission, these events help raise critical funds to provide new technologies, curriculum, specialized equipment, and materials to students with disabilities.
P.G. Chambers School is grateful to all the donors, families, sponsors, and volunteers who help us fulfill our mission every year. Every dollar raised directly benefits our students, ensuring they have the tools they need to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
30th Annual Menus for the Mind
On April 10, 2025, we welcomed friends of P.G. Chambers School to the Park Avenue Club for our annual Menus for the Mind event. This evening helps raise critical funds to support our children’s mobility, communication, and educational needs.
We were proud to honor Lori Solomon for her extraordinary dedication to our School community over the past two decades. We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to Rick Guidotti, whose inspiring remarks reminded us that beauty is found in the uniqueness of every individual.
Golf Classic
On May 19, 2025, more than 100 golfers joined us at Rockaway River Country Club for our annual Golf Classic fundraiser! The fun-filled outing helped raise thousands of dollars to support the School’s education and therapy programs. Celebrating its 20th year, the Golf Classic was co-chaired by P.G. Chambers School trustee Gabe Sasso and parent and trustee Joel Cohen. The event was made possible through the generosity of The Charles F. and Ruth J. Knippenberg Foundation, as well as numerous other community supporters.
Walk.Run.Roll.
The 2025 Walk.Run.Roll. will take place on October 5 and bring together friends of P.G. Chambers School to raise critical funds for exceptional special education, early intervention, and therapy programs. We hope to see you there!
