More Than Words … One Parent’s Note to Our School and Staff

14.04.2014     PGCS   No comments

“This note from a visiting parent captures the essence of
P.G. Chambers School. Thank you to our staff for everything you do, approaching the education of our students with enthusiasm and expertise.”
-Edee Levey, Principal and Assistant Director

Dear Mrs. Levey:
We wanted to take a moment to say thank you for the wonderful tour of
P.G. Chambers School on Monday.  Though we approached the tour with much anxiety, you quickly alleviated our fears and showed us what an incredible place P.G. Chambers School is for children with challenges.

As I am sure you can understand, handing our daughter Ivy over to new faces after spending all of our time with her for the past two and a half years will not be easy but knowing that we could be entrusting her to such a capable team would make the transition much smoother.  We were thrilled to see all of your students so engaged and all of your teachers and therapists so genuinely happy to be working with the kids.  What truly made us feel like
P.G. Chambers School is the appropriate fit for Ivy was seeing that one little girl who reminded us so much of our own daughter – not where she is today but with the progress we know she can make in one year from now.  We never dreamed that we would be able to smile during our tour but imagining how much Ivy will grow as a student there made us do just that!

Looking forward to seeing you again, this time with Ivy, and showing you and your team how Ivy would be a perfect fit for your preschool program in September 2014.

Have a wonderful weekend and thank you again for your time and consideration.
Elit & Jeff
