Listening, Learning, and Loving Music Performed by the New Jersey Symphony

P.G. Chambers School welcomed musicians Greg LaRosa (Percussion), Theo Bockhorst (Violin), Mark Timmerman (Bassoon), and Tiago Linck (Trumpet) from the New Jersey Symphony for a music residency!

The children loved exploring rhythms and sounds throughout the residency. For example, Camden used eye-gaze technology to share that he was listening to and enjoying a performance of “If You’re Happy and You Know It!” Click here to watch Camden use this technology in real-time.

Everyone’s an Artist with the Right Tools!

Supporting Families in Need this Holiday Season

As we enter this season of gratitude and giving, our hearts are drawn to the importance of community – of showing up for one another, especially when times are difficult. Many families in our area are feeling the weight of the recent cut to SNAP benefits and financial strain, and the simple act of putting food on the table can be a daily challenge. Together, we can make a difference.

Food Drive at P.G. Chambers School

We invite our School community to come together for a Food Drive to help support families in need. Donations of nonperishable items – such as canned goods, pasta, rice, cereal, and shelf-stable snacks – can be dropped off at School between Tuesday, 11/11 and Monday, 11/24. Food from this drive will be available for pick-up (or discreet delivery, if needed). Click here for more information.

Family Assistance Fund

You can also provide support for our families in need by donating online to our Family Assistance Fund. Please leave a comment when completing the form to let us know the donation is for the Family Assistance Fund. Click here to securely make a donation online.
