Natasha Kirk of P.G. Chambers School Recognized as First-Ever Nationally Certified Intervener in New Jersey

Natasha Kirk of P.G. Chambers School has been recognized by the National Resource Center for Paraeducators, Related Service Providers and Interveners (NRCP) as the first-ever Nationally Certified Intervener in the state of New Jersey.

Ms. Kirk’s strong background in American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting brings valuable expertise to her role as an Intervener at P.G. Chambers School. In the last three years, she has established a remarkable bond with Jack, a student who is deafblind. As a result of her work, Jack now has a structured daily routine that helps him navigate his work and he is regularly improving his communication skills by learning new signs.

Ms. Kirk is passionate about raising awareness of the essential role deafblind interveners play in the future success of students like Jack.
