A Special Message from Dylan's Mom, Maria

Maria remembers vividly how terrified she was 13 years ago taking a new path as a mom of a child with special needs. But at P.G. Chambers School, she and Dylan found that sense of “normalcy” that every parent dreams of for their child. Maria shared, “While their milestones may be different than some children’s, they are equally celebrated with joy and laughter. From concerts to science fairs, art projects and the annual Valentine’s Day dance, our children are enjoying these important developmental experiences just like their peers! And as a parent, I could not be more proud. The dedicated staff at P.G. Chambers School never start a sentence with “I don’t think Dylan can do that.” Their encouragement is endless and their support for Dylan and our family is priceless. $3,000 funds software which allows a student to control their iPad using their eyes.

$1,500 funds a child’s gait trainer/walker.

$500 funds an iPad for a child to participate as a virtual student

$400 funds a 1-month supply of KN95 masks to keep our children and staff safe.

$100 funds a child’s assistive communication switch.
