Programs

P.G. Chambers School is a community of diverse learners where each student learns in a different way, requires different supports, and has unique gifts to share.

The educational programs begin in early childhood, with an inclusive option for children with and without disabilities, six weeks to five years of age, through Kids Count Child Care. Programs continue with a singular focus on services for children with disabilities in the preschool, elementary, and middle school. These programs support students’ overall development and challenge their learning. At P.G. Chambers School, students make measurable improvements in all areas of the curriculum, develop confidence in their own abilities and, at the right time, participate in their community schools.

By identifying each student’s one-of-a-kind learning style and aligning that style with each child’s specific requirements for physical, speech, occupational therapy, and medical support, each of the students has a personalized educational and therapeutic program. Combined with a “set no limits” philosophy, students have full access to a curriculum rich with learning opportunities in language arts, reading, mathematics, science, social studies, physical education, music, and art.

Experienced and caring staff members use an interdisciplinary approach for teaching and therapy. The state-of-the-art facility, equipment, technology, and curricula provide students with a rigorous, developmentally and age-appropriate educational experience.

Parents and teachers maintain a close dialogue through daily communication and community-building events including seasonal concerts, back-to-school nights and workshops in technology, mathematics, science and literacy.

P.G. Chambers School provides a unique environment for children to successfully learn, grow, and fully realize their potentials.
